AXIAN Telecom and Huawei sign strategic cooperation MoU in Shanghai

AXIAN Telecom and Huawei have signed a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Shanghai to strengthen collaboration in support of Africa’s digital transformation and accelerate the growth of inclusive and sustainable digital economies across the continent.

The MoU deepens collaboration across three key pillars — Digital Connectivity, Digital Finance, and Digital Operations — enabling both companies to jointly modernize network infrastructure, expand digital services and introduce next-generation technologies that improve affordability, resilience, and service quality across AXIAN Telecom’s operating markets.

The partnership will focus on deploying future-ready and scalable technologies including 5G, cloud-based networks, AI-driven operations, and digital platforms, to support AXIAN Telecom in delivering reliable, secure and high-performance services that meet the evolving needs of individuals, businesses and public institutions.
